• Express your concern for this issue with representatives and candidates for the Board of Supervisors and Fairfax County School Board.   Cut and paste the following letter to send to representatives and candidates:

I am very interested in seeing the construction of a South County Middle School by 2012. South County Secondary School was never intended to house a Middle School, and the community only agreed to this temporary measure with the understanding that a Middle School would be forthcoming in the near future. Fairfax County Public Schools initially lead residents to believe it would be immediately forthcoming, and then saying that a Middle School might never be needed and placing it on the CIP for 2017 or beyond, because there is no money for this.

Please tell me specifically what you, as my elected official, are doing and going to do to make a Middle School a reality by 2012. If you have a mailing list to update people on the Middle School, please add me to it.
